Gary has been making his own Christmas cards for years. He used
to make them all by hand, drawing a copy of his annual card for
everyone on his list. For the last few years he has used his
computer to make the cards.
This year's Christmas card features Sarah Palin Last year Gary created an image for the perladvent calendar and the camel theme wound up being carried over to last year's Christmas card. Gary worked in an animation studio years ago, when individual frames were hand drawn on clear acetate. They then placed the finished animation on movie film by shooting one frame at a time. Although the animation on this site was created using more modern techniques, the experience of having done it the old fashioned way certainly paid off when Gary made the transition to using a computer. |
